What is an Achilles tendon support suitable for?

Achilles tendon supports help treat Achilles tendonitis or Achilles tendinopathy. Achilles tendonitis is inflammation of the Achilles tendon. However, most long term chronic cases of Achilles pain tend not be from acute inflammation.

The more common cause is wear and tear or degeneration. Therefore, the term tendinopathy is probably a more accurate way of describing the injury.

How does it work?
